Memory is history recorded in our brain. Memory is a painter, it paints pictures of the past and of the day. Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. Memory is the diary that we all carry about with us.

Breakfast.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
We might be having breakfast for dinner, but in some cultures breakfast doesn't differ that much from dinner. In Japan, breakfast foods include rice, fish, soup and vegetables, all of which are often included in breakfast and lunch too. Luckily, we get to have things like waffles!

Sea Animals.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
A sad fact for today, but with the new ducks around I've had animals on my mind so:

Did you know that only 1 in 1000 animals born in the sea live to maturity?

On a more positive note, the dance sounds like it will be fun.

Valentine's Facts.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
To celebrate this day, I thought I'd share 3 facts about V-Day with you all.

  1. In medieval times, girls ate weird things on V-day so they would have weird dreams that were meant to be about their future spouses.
  2. In the middle ages they believed the first unmarried person of the oppsoite gender you met on V-day would become you spouse.
  3. It was also once thought that if a woman saw a robin on V-day, she would marry a sailor, if she saw a sparrow, she would marry a poor man but be happy and if she saw a goldfinch she would marry a millionaire.
So look out for goldfinches and try not run into anyone you don't want to marry today!
